Becoming a member of YU is easy...and best of all, it's free!

Completing the membership application allows us to clearly define the needs of you the member and to see how those needs are best met. Youth UpRising’s membership process is streamlined to access your needs as a participant in the following categories:

1. Case management
2. Personal interests to determine appropriate program placement
3. Vocational and educational evaluation
4. An orientation to acclimate the participants to Youth UpRising's culture of personal transformation and community change

In addition, all members receive a membership card which entitles them to Youth UpRising services as well as various other benefits, such as discounted dance battle tickets, concerts, and so on. The only requirements are that you are a resident of Alameda County and you are between the ages of 13-24 years old.
